I know why you're doing that You're being that, oh I know that this apathy is just a fact This materialism's come to get us now Oh I know, I know, I know That you don't care anymore It ain't worth fighting for You don't care anymore You're laying down your sword

about

This is my first release as Boba Fettuccini in what seems like yonks. I had this one ready to go this time last year, but I never did anything about it. It just didn't feel right. Recently, I've had no time to do anything with my music, and whenever I've tried, I draw a massive creative blank. I've thought long and hard about why this is, and at times the only conclusion I've been able to come up with is that Boba Fettuccini died. Boba Fettuccini was a part of myself that was born in my middle school years as a way to be more confidant and secure, and he could do anything he wanted and be cool about it. I carried that with me all through high school and into college... but...

Boba Fettuccini died in November of 2012. I was sitting in a movie theater watching Wreck It Ralph, and when I got up to leave, I turned on my phone and got a text message from a friend of mine informing me that one of my closest friends from high school had committed suicide. It was surreal. Looking back, I think that's one of the things that made it hard to keep doing music. In light of this, I would like to dedicate this EP to Nick Collins. He may have passed two years ago, but the profound effect he had on my art, my music, my life, will always remain. I miss you buddy. I would really have liked to have you work on some of these songs with me.

That said, it's time to reawaken Boba. Boba brought joy to his friends and family, and he worked hard at what he loved. And recently, all I've done is work hard at what I hate. And I'm tired of that. So, without further ado, here's some of my best work from 2010-2013.

This album is completely free, don't feel obligated to donate. If you do, though, know that I appreciate it very much. Please contact me with any feedback or questions or whatever. It's always really encouraging when I hear from people about my work, even if it's criticism!
